Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are right around the corner. Beth Emet offers services both in-person and livestreamed for you to choose from — in our Sanctuary, in your homes, or a combination of both. Our value of hospitality - hachnasat orchim - continues throughout these holidays to members, family and friends.
As we welcome all those who plan to worship in-person, we continue to emphasize the importance of knowing one another's names. We will again be using name badge inserts in plastic badge holders; lanyards will be available when you arrive for services.
Name badge inserts (tickets) will be available between September 8 and September 20 at the synagogue to members in good standing. To receive your badges, you must pay at least 25% of your total membership commitment as well as all past balances from prior years. Beth Emet does not turn anyone away from services who is not in a position to pay. If you need to make financial arrangements, please contact Jody Litwack.
Please note: name badge inserts will not be mailed to your home.
1. Members in good standing who also have children in Beit Sefer may pick up badges from the synagogue on September 8 during the afterschool tailgate luncheon;
2. All members in good-standing may pick up badges Monday-Friday from 9-3 in the front office until September 20; and
3. Any badges not picked up before September 20 may be picked up at the will-call table during services.
Please also consider sponsorship opportunities for the High Holy Days as a important way to live our values while ensuring that we can defray the costs associated with the holidays. Your contribution makes a difference.
