Here are some details about the program:

  • Two-week paid internship for current high school students who live in the Highline School District area
  • Primary restoration site: Salmon Creek Ravine in Burien
  • Program dates: August 19-30, 2024
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday from 9am-2pm
  • Hours: Total of 50 hours (or approx. 64 hours for Assistant Leaders)
  • Total Stipend: $1,200 (or $1,500 for Assistant Leaders)


This form, and accompanying document attachments, must be completed and submitted by Monday, August 12! We can help you at the Orientation.

Stipend Check
Your stipend check will be mailed to you by King Conservation District. If you don't have your own bank account, provide your parent/guardian's information in this section.








Gear Kit
Your Gear Kit (that you get to keep!) includes pants, hiking boots, socks, shirt, hat, and more. We will also provide lunch every day.




Required Documents
You need to attach three documents before submitting this form. You can find all the forms and instructions about how to complete and upload them here
1. W-9 (with the student's name and social security number, not the parent or legal guardian)
2. Volunteer Services Agreement (one for new interns and one for Assistant Leaders)
3. Greenway Trust Waiver (available in four languages)
