The 131° School of Composting for an informative compost site operator workshop series in New York State. These workshops are free to attend. The workshop series will focus on best practices for compost sites that incorporate food scraps. Here are the workshops that will be held in Fall 2024:
- Kerhonkson: Community Compost Company – September 23, 2024
- Ithaca: Cornell University Compost Site – September 25, 2024
- Winthrop: Whitten Family Farm – October 28, 2024
Each workshop will run from 7:45 AM – 4:45 PM and will include a lecture in a classroom setting (exact address to be sent after registering) followed by a field session at a compost site. Lunch will be provided. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email from CET with more information.
Priority registration will be given to composters based in New York. If the workshop you wish to register for is full, you will be placed on our waitlist and notified if any spots become available.
