Farm Tour Information
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Whatcom County Farm Tour!
The 17th annual Whatcom County Farm Tour will be held on Saturday, September 14th from 10:00am-4:00pm. Visitors can start their self-guided tour experience at any of the participating farms and get to spend the day learning about the unique agricultural landscape of Whatcom County!

We need 32 volunteers to staff our welcome booth where they will greet guests, offer directions and basic information,  keep track of guest registration, collect donations, etc. It's that easy!

The Farm Tour is one of our favorite days of the year and we're so grateful to YOU for helping us make it happen. As a thank you, volunteers will receive a $20 Think Local First gift card to use at participating businesses.

Schedule:
Shifts are 4 hours long. You have a choice of a morning or afternoon shift.
Morning shift goes from 9:00am-1:00pm
Afternoon shift goes from 1:00pm-5:00pm (or however long it takes to finish breaking down the booth)

Orientation:
We'll host an orientation night on Thursday, September 5th from 5:30-7:00 for volunteers and farm participants to attend. You'll get the chance to meet your farmer and mingle with other volunteers and farm participants! We'll walk through how to greet guests at the registration table and answer any questions you might have. While not mandatory, attendance is HIGHLY encouraged. You'll receive an invitation to attend that orientation after you've signed up to volunteer.

Day on the Bay Information
Join us for the inaugural Day on the Bay!
This free, self-guided tour of Bellingham's waterfront goes from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 28th and includes several stops from Squalicum Harbor all the way to the cruise terminal in Fairhaven.
We need volunteers to staff our welcome booth where they will greet guests, offer directions and basic information,  keep track of guest registration, collect donations, etc. It's that easy!
