For Stakeholders

You may qualify to become an Industry Supporter

  • As a new offering for the Code, the Industry Supporter program offers demand-side (buy-side) entities with the opportunity to contribute to critical market development activities, and support increased integrity, transparency and accountability in Australia’s carbon industry.
  • Support for the Code is an investment in industry-wide risk mitigation, translating to a more consistent approach to carbon market participation, increased project transparency, strengthened social license, and greater engagement and communication between stakeholders.

What are my business' responsibilities as a Signatory to the Code?
  • You agree to meet the best practice carbon industry standards outlined in the Code, which include general principles in your dealings with clients or other stakeholders, pre-project activities and project activities.  See Complying with the Code.
  • You agree to meet the compliance, record keeping and reporting requirements under the Code including the submission of an Annual Report at the end of each compliance year.
  • As a Signatory to the Code you agree to use the Code Brand Mark and be recognised as a business supporting best practice in the industry.

Your business is Project Services Category 3

What are my business' responsibilities as a Signatory to the Code?
