Important information about SIR and the NRMP All-In Policy

SIR has voluntarily implemented the All In Policy for the IR Independent Residency.

The NRMP permits Specialties Matching Service^® (SMS^®) Match sponsors to voluntarily implement the All In Policy for their Fellowship Matches. Not all Fellowship Matches implement the policy.

Programs in the subspecialty that participate in the Match must register and attempt to fill all positions in the Match. Please note that the Policy applies to those positions a program wishes to fill, which may be fewer than the number of positions for which the program is accredited.

I attest that this position was originally filled via The Match, but due to the unexpected vacancy we are filling this position outside of the Match. This will be noted by SIR to the NRMP as an exception to the All In Policy.
