Why do we need this information?

At Resuscitation Council UK, we are committed to ensuring that the courses, opportunities, products and communications we offer are accessible, inclusive and equitable.

We are asking for these details because we need to understand who we are and aren’t reaching, and whether there are any groups that we are inadvertently favouring or disadvantaging. We haven’t asked these questions before, so the information from this survey will give us a much-needed benchmark through which we can explore our own blind spots and ensure that we are moving forward as an inclusive organisation.

How will this data be used?

We will use this data to give us an overall picture of who is – and isn’t – engaging with the Lifesaver course, and we will also cross-reference it with other questions in this survey to make sure that experiences are equitable across the board.

The answers you provide will not be used to identify you personally in any reporting. All information will be stored securely in FormAssembly and your individual response will only be accessed by analysts working on this project.

Do I have to answer these questions?

It’s really important that we collect this information; however, we also recognise that some of these questions may feel a little personal.
