Co-op Agreement

I understand that Inman Park Cooperative Preschool is a cooperative preschool where parents are required to participate in the school in various ways. If enrolled at IPCP, I agree to fulfill the following participation requirements:

  • I agree to work as a Parent Helper in my child’s classroom from 8:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., approximately 6-12 times a school year. (note: the number of days assigned depends on the age of your child and number of days/week they are enrolled).
  • I agree to participate on a Committee or serve on the Board of Directors.
  • I agree to fulfill my obligations towards IPCP’s annual auction: donate items for sale and work one shift at auction as assigned.
  • I agree to participate in 2 Building and Grounds (B&G) days per year.
  • I agree to attend Co-op 101 (tentative date: 7/19/2025)
  • I agree to attend Back to School Night (tentative date: 8/15/2025)
  • I agree to attend IPCP’s annual Business Meeting (tentative date: 3/13/2026)

Page 5 - Interview Process Explained

Applications are not reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis. All applications received by the deadline of February 3rd will be reviewed by members of the IPCP Admissions Committee and scored based on a rubric. Applications with the highest scores will be offered an interview by March 1.

As part of the application process, current IPCP parents interview prospective families. In person interviews will take place on March 8th, 9th, 15th, and 16th. Zoom interviews will be offered on a limited basis. What to expect:
  • A 45 minute meeting that will take place at IPCP
  • A conversation about our school model
  • An opportunity to share information about your child
  • A chance to ask questions to ensure IPCP is the right fit for your family
Please Note: Interviews are for adults only. All parents/legal guardians are asked to participate in the interview.

In previous years we have offered interviews to all applicants. Due to the high volume of applications we received last year, we have updated this process and cannot guarantee that we will be able to offer interviews to all applicants.

A $100 application fee will be assessed to cover the costs of processing the application. We will not be offering refunds for applications if you are not granted an interview.

The number of available spaces in each classroom varies from year to year and is based upon current family re-enrollment, sibling enrollment, as well as days selected by each family. At this time, we do not know the amount of spaces that are available for next year. Each year varies based upon current family re-enrollment, sibling enrollment, as well as days offered.

I have read and understand the above information regarding the interview process.

Page 6 - OPTIONAL demographic survey

As part of IPCP's broader Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives, we continually seek to understand the representation of families interested in and attending our school. We ask demographic questions as a part of these ongoing data collection efforts.

Please note that the questions on this page are fully optional.

Responses are kept private/secure and are only viewed by our Admissions and DEI team in aggregate across metrics. This data is not accessed or used in our admissions process.

Thank you!
