AMSI BioInfoSummer 2024 - Grant Application Form

AMSI Travel Grants, funded by AMSI and Australian BioCommons, support undergraduate and postgraduate students to enhance their skills and expand their professional networks by providing full or partial travel and accommodation funding to participate in AMSI flagship events.

Female, First Nations and regional, rural and remote students are strongly encouraged to apply.

Travel
You are responsible for making your own travel arrangements to and from Melbourne

This amount has been calculated based on your origin.

Funding is available for delegate travel from their home city to Melbourne. Only economy domestic flights or economy regional train travel costs are eligible. Funding will not be granted for Ubers/Taxis or public transport within Melbourne.
Accommodation
Successful applicants will receive up to 4 nights accommodation including breakfast at University College - an on campus student college within walking distance of the conference venue.

This accommodation will be booked and paid for directly by AMSI/The University of Melbourne.





Attach your CV to outline your academic (statement of results), professional and/or research history to support your Grant Application and attendance at AMSI BioInfoSummer.

Attach a Letter of Support (PDF files only) from your current supervisor, honours coordinator, head of department or manager that outlines their support of your grant application and attendance at AMSI BioInfoSummer, as well as outlining what home university support is available.
