The Work Force New Participant Application -  2024-25 School Year

Graduation
The Work Force Youth Program is a 13-year after school program for students in 6th grade through their first four years in post-secondary. The program focuses on the following key pieces:

Academic Supports:
We focus on student success in school by providing individual academic supports through tutoring, meet regularly with teachers and parents, and help participants be the best students they can be.

College & Career Planning:
The ultimate goal of Work Force is to help participants and parents figure out the best option after high school and help them get there. We provide SAT Prep, college trips, and a College Match Savings program that can provide up to $3000 for college expenses, coaching for persistence, and post college or high school job placement supports.

Financial Support:
Work Force offers after school jobs and internships, along with summer jobs. Additionally students get paid for attending Work Force classes and get other financial incentives for participating.

Social and Emotional Supports and Family Engagement:
All of our work surrounds the idea that everyone needs an extra helping hand. Teenage years are difficult and our Teacher-Counselors and rest of staff is here to help every student get the individualized case management and support they need to succeed. We work collaboratively with the family to support your child through the adolescent years into early adulthood.
