Juried Art Show Application Winter Festival 2024

Event Overview:

Event: PhinneyWood Winter Festival & Craft Fair 
Location: Piano Nobile exhibition space, 2nd floor of the Brick Building, Seattle 
Dates: Saturday & Sunday, December 7th & 8th, 2024, 10am - 5pm 
Application Deadline: September 30th, 2024 
Notification of Acceptance: October 15th, 2024 

Eligibility:

  • Open to local Seattle artists. 
  • Artwork should not be smaller than 16” x 16”. 
  • Preference given to local artists, emerging artists, and BIPOC artists. 
  • All artwork must be for sale. 
  • All artwork must be ready to hang via a picture hook rail system.  
  • Artists selling smaller pieces are encouraged to apply for a marketplace booth (August 18th deadline to apply). 

Details:

Exhibition Space: Approximately 30 spaces available with track exhibition lighting. This is in the Piano Nobile exhibition space, Level 2 (North Wing), of the Brick Building, at the Phinney Center. 
Sales: PNA will handle all sales with a 40% commission. 
Volunteer Opportunities: Artists are encouraged to volunteer; positions available to manage the space during the event.  
How Sales will be Handled: We will print exhibition labels for each artwork, which will include a QR code that directs buyers to a Square site for purchasing. Once an artwork is sold, the lead volunteer will place a red dot label on the exhibition label to indicate the sale. Artists will be paid at most 2 weeks after the event

Timeline:

Applications Close: September 30th, 2024 
Jurying Process: October 1st – October 15th, 2024 
Notifications Sent to Artists: October 15th, 2024 
Drop-off: Artwork must be dropped off by Tuesday, November 27th. More details will be provided. 
Pickup Unsold Artwork: Must be picked up by Wednesday 11th December.
