This virtual session provides an overview of the roles and responsibilities of a trustee of a small group or charity. During this course you will have the opportunity to understand the different ways that a trustee can contribute to the organisation and the importance of the role in the governance of the charity. Who's it for? Anyone who is either new to being a trustee, thinking of becoming a trustee or would like to further update their knowledge about what trusteeship means. Outcomes for Learners:
  • An overview of the responsibilities of a trustee
  • An opportunity to understand the different ways that a trustee can contribute to their organisation
  • The importance of their role in the governance of the organisation
  • An understanding of ways to develop their trustee board

    The course will be delivered by a CVS Development Officer.
