Can people be friends, can you exchange presents, can someone come to your house?
It is difficult for staff, and especially for volunteers to know what boundaries should exist between them and service users, and what to do if these are being broken. This training will look at how staff and volunteers maintain professional boundaries with service users and with each other.
This virtual session will help learners:
• Understand what boundaries are;
• Understand why having boundaries is important;
• Be able to deal with situations where boundaries may be compromised.
