This virtual introductory session is aimed at organisations who have little or no experience in applying for grant funding.
Aim of the session:
As the funding pot gets smaller, groups need to be able to write more effective applications to help fund their projects. This introductory session will provide guidance on:
• What to do before writing a bid - including research, planning and budgets
• How to find funders - ways to research and identify grant funders
• What to include in an application - best practice.
• Common pitfalls to avoid.
There will also be an opportunity to exchange ideas and concerns with other groups.
