ArtPride New Jersey Membership connects your organization to the state’s larger creative sector, promotes your message to a wider audience, gives your staff access to professional development opportunities, and provides your group representation through our advocacy work at the local, state, and federal levels.

Description
Share a description of your organization for the Discover Jersey Arts directory. 

Kindly:
  • Write in the third person ("the organization does x" vs. "our organization does x").
  • Avoid phrases like “this year,” “this season,” or "for the last 10 years" -- these can date your entry.
  • Avoid naming people associated with the organization (artistic director, etc.), as these may change.
Directory descriptions should be a minimum of 700 characters, 2500 maximum characters, including spaces. 

Directory Images

  • Directory entries should have four (4) images to accompany your description. They should highlight the organization's location and programming. Please use specific, descriptive file names.


  • Guidelines:

Profile Image – 1:1 (1500 x 1500px); choose something iconic like a marquee or well-known exterior 

Additional Images – 3:2 (1500 x 1000px) or 16:9 (1500 x 844px); images can include exterior, interior, performance 

Alternative (Alt) Text is meant to convey the "why" of the image as it relates to the content of a document or webpage. It is read aloud to users by screen reader software, and search engines index it. It also displays on the page if the image fails to load. (Keep it short and descriptive, like a tweet.)

Membership Dues




**ArtPride New Jersey Annual Dues are billed each January, that is mid-year of the current fiscal year.

Our fiscal year is July 1 through June 30. You will receive the next dues request in January of the next fiscal year. (For example, if you submit this application in September you will be charged 75% of the FY25 membership that expires on June 30. 2025. Your next bill will be January 2026 for FY26.)
Introductory Membership Program

As arts organizations across New Jersey continue to face financial difficulties, ArtPride New Jersey is extending its support with an Introductory Membership Program. For organizations joining ArtPride New Jersey for the first time, we offer free membership for the first year.


The challenges we’ve faced in recent years have shown us the power of a united voice. New Jersey’s arts community is still navigating the recovery process from the COVID-19 pandemic, and we must come together. Now more than ever, our collective action is needed to advocate for the essential role the arts play in enhancing community life, driving economic growth, and enriching the quality of life for everyone.


Eligibility Criteria:


This free introductory membership is designed to support those most impacted by financial difficulties and is available to:

  • Arts organizations with non-profit status or volunteer-led groups actively working toward non-profit designation.
  • Organizations that have never previously been members of ArtPride New Jersey.
