Welcome to the ABFE Board Member Nomination Form


We invite you to nominate candidates or self-nominate for the 2026 ABFE Board cycle. We seek individuals committed to advancing philanthropy in Black communities, with expertise in areas such as foundation CEO/senior leadership, finance and investment, and narrative change.


Key Details:


Commitment: Board members are expected to actively participate in committees and make a financial contribution to ABFE.


Diversity: We encourage candidates of diverse backgrounds, particularly those who reflect the breadth of the African diaspora within the United States, including Afro-Latino, Afro-Caribbean, and African immigrant communities.


Eligibility: Only current ABFE members may nominate. Nominees must be or become ABFE members if selected.


Deadline: Friday, January 23rd, 2026
