Nonprofit staff often face the challenge of burnout and compassion fatigue, especially direct service providers for whom empathy is central to their work. Join SIF and Dr. Stephanie Palacios for an interactive workshop that explores how mindfulness-based strategies can support managing stress and cultivating self-compassion.
Participants will gain insights and be guided through mindfulness practices to develop personalized strategies to foster emotional balance in the work they do. The goal is for participants to experience mindfulness in a hands-on way that allows them to introduce it into their own daily life in ways that are meaningful to them.
This workshop is open to all, and especially designed for those in direct service roles. Participants are invited to join individually or with a small group from your organization. This workshop is appropriate for those who are new to mindfulness as well as those looking to deepen their experience.
