OLAM Virtual Members Circle 2024-25

Thank you for your interest in joining OLAM's Virtual Members Circle!

Members Circles offer an opportunity for Jewish professionals working in the fields of international development, humanitarian assistance, and global service to connect, learn, share experiences with other Jews around the world, and expand your professional network.

In order to participate in a Members Circle, you:

Must live outside of the greater London or Washington DC areas (we arrange regular in-person programming in these cities.)
Must be a current OLAM member (if you are not yet a member, become a member here!)
Commit to attending at least 4 out of 5 sessions
Must not have participated in previous Members Circles
Help recruit two new members within 3 months of the close of the Circle
Join at least one OLAM program (virtual or in-person) within 6 months of the Circle
Bring your ideas, open mind, and passion for making the world a better place

Members Circle session dates:

1 - Monday, December 16, 2024

2 - Wednesday, January 8, 2025

3 - Wednesday, January 29, 2025

4 - Monday, February 17, 2025

5 - Wednesday, March 12, 2025

All sessions will be 1.5 hours long at 11am-12:30pm ET / 4-5:30pm UK / 6-7:30pm IST. For those joining during the workday, please make necessary accommodations for participation in advance.

Why are you interested in participating in the OLAM Members Circle?

During the Members Circle, we will be doing a skills-sharing activity so that participants can learn from one another. Please share 1-2 skills that you can share with others, including a brief description of the skill. You do not need to be an expert in the skill in order to list it - we all have something we enjoy doing!

Example: Facilitation Skill - from my experience facilitating activities for groups, I can teach a few creative modalities that others can use in order to make team meetings more exciting and interactive.
