Reelworld Producer Program 2025

Overview

The Reelworld Producer Program is a 4-month program that fosters an immersive learning environment and creates pathways to build a career as a producer in the television industry. The program has a 2-3 hour commitment per week between March and June. Producers in the program will get priority access to apply to markets throughout the year.

Those selected for the program will be immersed in the business side of the Canadian entertainment industry. In this program, producer trainees will learn valuable skills such as creating a corporation, retaining intellectual property rights, choosing and optioning scripts, creating deal memos, choosing key creatives, casting directors, and more. Producer trainees will be introduced to key industry professionals, and have the chance to pitch their chosen project and get it into development. If selected, Bell Media will be taking an active interest in your project and your development.

We are looking for aspiring producers who really want to focus on the art of producing. The program is not for directors or writers focused on their own body of work.

The program will start in March 2025 and continue through June 2025. Workshops will usually take place between 12-4pm ET on either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Please also be prepared for possible travel to markets if selected under the Market Ready Program. All program participants will receive passes to the 2025 Reelworld Summit+Festival.
