Young Voices is seeking applicants to our Law & Liberty Pilot Program, in partnership with the Federalist Society. This program offers media training and placement support for select law students and recent graduates who are/were a member of a Federalist Society chapter. Participants will be expected to produce four monthly op-eds throughout the fellowship on topics implicated in the law student experience, with the goal of offering a student perspective in the media. Potential topics include but are not limited to: DEI policies and identity politics, regulatory and Constitutional issues, free speech, campus protests, cancel culture, and more. Applicants should be interested in developing their own brand and presence in the media, and be committed to individual liberty, separation of powers, and the rule of law.
The fellowship will last four months, running from February 3rd thru Friday, June 27th.
If you're interested, please complete the application by 11:59 PM ET on Sunday, January 26th. Late applications will not be considered. All applicants will be notified of an admissions decision no later than Friday, January 30, 2025.
Inquiries should be directed to Program Manager Caleb Franz at caleb@joinyv.org.
