Share Your Story: Harassment and Bullying in Educational Spaces

GLAD Law continues to hear about an uptick in harassment and bullying of LGBTQ+ students in schools. We are interested to learn from parents and students about K–12 students who are or have been targeted by classmates and others in the school community for bullying, harassment, and cyberbullying.

This mistreatment would be because they are LGBTQ+, including students who are transgender or gender nonconforming, as well as students who are LGBTQ+ and also face discrimination based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, or disability. GLAD Law often collaborates with schools seeking to provide supportive environments for LGBTQ+ students, but discrimination can happen anywhere. That can deprive LGBTQ+ students of the opportunity to learn and can result in lasting harm.

If you are willing to share your experience with us, or know of people who might be interested, please have them fill out the form below.
