Statement of Commitment

Neighborhood Leadership's Summer Program will run from June to Septmember. The schedule amounts to 13 days of in-person training including (1) program orientation and (2) opening retreat sessions, (5) leadership sessions, (4) strategy sessions, optional Coro community events, which includes a end-of-program presentation showcase and graduation. Due to the experiential nature of our training and the importance cohort-based learning, a commitment to attend all program sessions is preferred.

Due to known or unexpected circumstances, we understand that participants may need to miss a session. A total of 2 absences are possible with no more than 1 absence for a strategy session and no more than 1 absence for a leadership session. Absences exceeding this could result in your withdrawal from the program.

Please note that full participation/attendance in the Opening Retreat on June 12th and 13th and the Showcase/Graduation on September 16th, 2025 is required. The program calendar can be found on our website.

If you have any questions about this commitment, please reach out to David Rivera at David@coro.nyc.
