Koreatown Storytelling Program Application

Thank you for your interest in the Koreatown Storytelling Program (KSP)! Through this opportunity you'll learn about storytelling, oral history and community journalism and have your work published in print and online. The 2024-2025 cohort of KSP will begin in September 2025 and conclude in February 2026. Our focus for the 2025-2026 year is on connecting with folks who have experiences with Land, Climate, and Environment in our Koreatown community and collecting their stories.

Requirements:

All applicants must be high school students (Grades 9-12) during the 2025-26 year.
All applicants must be willing to commit to weekly 2-hour meetings, attend all program activities and assignments, and complete the full program from September 2025 - February 2026 with breaks for holidays. (Tuesday afternoons 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.)

Final applicants will be selected for virtual interviews in August 2025 and the program will start in September 2025.
