Reach Retreat & Mentorship programme - a new project building a peer-support
network for young adults

There are lots of ways you can volunteer with Reach - click
here for a full listing* - each year we run an activity week for young people
aged 10-17 called RAW. It has been running since the year 2000 – you might have
attended as a young person… both this project and our 18-25 Retreat & Mentorship
programme is led by volunteer mentors with upper limb difference. It might be
you are really into adventure, sport, music, arts, you might be at a stage in
your life when you want to boost your CV or at a time in your career that you
want to give back - as a volunteer-led charity we want you to lead on the
bits that most interest you…
Annual
Family Weekend:
Be part of our annual Family Weekend and Conference, featuring inspiring
speakers and engaging panel discussions, all leading up to our fabulous Gala
dinner!
Within
Reach Magazine:
Stay informed and inspired with our magazine, published three times a year.
Adapted
Equipment: Explore our hire scheme for one-handed recorders and various other
instruments. We also offer a 'try before you buy' loan scheme for useful
equipment, like swim paddles and a variety of scissors and gadgets.

run a small bursary grant scheme for Membership fees, Adaptations & Activities

Community:
Connect with our members through our private Facebook and What's App groups. A
safe space to engage with the Reach community as a whole and with other adults
with ULD specifically.
We
are a small volunteer-led charity transitioning from being a parent-led charity
to a people-led charity and we are learning as we go – we would like you to be
part of that journey.
