Special Tree Replacement Form

This form is for use by homeowners who have applied for a permit from the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) to remove a special tree / heritage tree. Qualifying permit applicants can enroll in the special tree replacement program and receive a new tree (or trees!) planted free of charge. Funding for this program comes from DDOT’s administration of the Urban Forest Preservation Act of 2002. Through this program, revenues are deposited into DDOT’s Tree Fund when permits are issued for the removal of non-hazardous special trees. Please complete all fields below.
