Register as Voice 21 Oracy School!

We are delighted you wish to register as a Voice 21 Oracy School. Any state school in England or Wales is eligible to work with us by becoming a Voice 21 Oracy School.

By completing the form below, you are registering to become a Voice 21 Oracy School from January 2022, as we are at capacity before then. If you have any questions, please contact alex@voice21.org.
School Information

All-through schools should select 'secondary'.

This is a 6 digit number called 'Ofsted URN'. It's very important we have your correct URN, so if you are unsure, you can find it here (English and Welsh schools)

The following questions ask for the name and email address of your Voice 21 School Lead. This will be our main point of contact in your school, who has the authority to think and act strategically and lead the development of oracy across school.

Please don't add spaces as this will prevent the address matching.

Becoming a Voice 21 Oracy School
There are three progressive stages of membership, each of which runs for one year across three terms. Each stage is £2500 for a primary school or £3000 for a secondary school. Schools should usually start at Stage 1.

Stage 1: Building the foundations of oracy teaching and learning across classrooms through the development of teacher practice.

Stage 2: Embedding oracy throughout the curriculum, culture, routines and core approaches of the school.

Stage 3: Continually improving and sustaining practice, and cascading to other schools.

Your school can sign up for just one stage for now, but if you sign up for all 3 stages now, the total price will be £7000 (Primary) / £8500 (Secondary).

Each Voice 21 Oracy School is entitled to send two members of staff (its 'Oracy Champions') to our course. Some schools choose to pay for additional members of staff to be Oracy Champions and attend the Development Days, at £400 per additional Oracy Champion per stage.

If you select 'Online', this means that the Development Days will be delivered via video-conferencing software online, rather than in person. Please note that while we aim to deliver courses in-person, this is subject to government guidance regarding Covid-19 and may change if necessary.
