Construction Type
Brick & Concrete Walls
  • Does your kitchen area have any walls that are brick or concrete?

Floor protection
All care will be given to the customers home but it is recommended to include flooring protection to ensure the flooring in the renovation area and entry path is well protected throughout the renovation.

Demolition
  • During the demolition process we remove and dispose all of the old cabinetry, appliances and splashback cladding. You can elect to keep the appliances to be reused or sold.

Joinery & Benchtops

Joinery demolition includes laminate benchtop/base/wall/tall cabinets & wall tiles.

Plumbing
  1. Our registered plumbers will attend prior to demolition to disconnect the sink & tap along with any gas appliances so they can be safely removed by the demolition team.
  2. After the demolition is complete the plumber "roughs in" the new water and gas services in the correct locations.
  3. After the installation of the cabinets and benchtop is complete the plumber returns to "fit off" AKA connect the water and gas services that were roughed in earlier in the process.


Electrical
  1. Our registered electricians will attend prior to demolition to disconnect any electric appliances so they can be safely removed by the demolition team.
  2. After the demolition is complete the electrician "roughs in" the new services in the correct locations.
  3. After the installation of the cabinets and benchtop is complete the electrician returns to "fit off" AKA connect the services like appliances and power points that were roughed in earlier in the process. 




SGPO's are auto added for oven, cooktop, dishwasher and rangehood. Dont include them here




Plaster - Gyprock
During the demolition process the splashback area is removed. Normally during this process the plaster behind the splashback material cannot be saved. A plasterer will attend to replace this plaster, ready for the new splashback. Also, wall & ceiling plaster may need repair where new services are run, or where bulkheads or joinery removed.


This will be rounded up to the nearest 2.4m sheet and includes stopping and patching


Splashback
We offer 2 splashback services. We can tile the splashback area or we can install an acrylic / laminate splashback panel.

Option 1 - Our tiler will attend site after the cabinetry and benchtop is installed to complete the splashback tiling.

Option 2 - After the installation of the benchtop is complete we install the acrylic / laminate splashback.

End & filler panels

End panels are used to cover exposed carcass ends on base, wall & tall cabinets - and on island backs. They also occur on either side of dishwashers, ovens & fridges.

Filler panels are used to fill the gap between base/wall/tall cabinets and a wall.

Post Demolition Rubbish Removal

Post demolition rubbish removal is available for all incidental rubbish that occurs throughout a project. Cardboard from packaging, off cuts from plaster, tile, cabinets etc. 

If post demolition rubbish removal is not included this rubbish will be left onsite. Highly recommend this is included.


Cleaning

  1. Construction clean of area during the project, after the stone benchtops have been measured. Wipe down all surfaces, vacuum & mop floors in project thoroughfare and main living zones, clean inside toilet if being used by trades.

  2. Final clean of area at completion of project. Wipe down & polish all surfaces & fittings inc window frames/architraves/skirting, vacuum & mop floors, polish all glass & mirrors, clean cabinets inside & out, vacuum & wipe walls in thoroughfare used during the project. Remove and all floor protection.

    If not included no cleaning will occur but trades will tidy as they go.



Caulking

Caulking completed by professional caulkers. Caulking control joins (internal corners, splashback between benchtop & tiles, where any fixture meets tiles)
