Wedu Mentor Application Form

Page 1

Thank you for taking this step to join the Wedu Community as a gender equity ally in closing the gender gap in leadership. Our Mentors are professionals from all around the world and work in any sector. You don’t have to be at the peak of your career, have three diplomas, or have life figured out to be a good mentor. What’s more important is your ability to establish and maintain trust, listen, encourage, ask thoughtful questions, and reflect with your mentee. You are a confidante, a guide, a gender equity ally and most importantly, an invaluable pillar of support to a woman’s journey to lead change.

We appreciate you supporting women in leadership and look forward to reviewing your application. You may want to use the "Save my progress and resume later" feature as you progress to prevent loss of information for various reasons such as internet fluctuation, system shutdown, form freezing etc.

Eligibility Confirmation

Please note that we require mentors to be aged 25 or above.

Please note that we require mentors to have at least 2 years of professional experience.

Participation in Wedu’s Mentorship programmes requires both mentees and mentors to commit at least 3-6 hours per month to prepare for and have fruitful mentoring sessions together. Please note that mentorship matching for the Global Mentorship Programme occurs every February, June, and October while mentoring with a specific corporate or customised programme follows a different calendar. Please make sure you're able to commit from the next available start date, both from an availability and scheduling standpoint (the majority of our mentees are located in the Asia region).
To proceed with this application, please ensure that you can fulfil all of the requirements above.

Based on the nature of Wedu's Mentorship Programme, our commitment to zero tolerance for sexual harassment or misconduct, we may request an official background check on our mentors, especially in the event of providing support to vulnerable populations. Please note that this does not constitute a professional background check.

e.g. Wedu website, Social media posts, Reports, Newsletters, etc. Please note that we always try our best to honour the privacy preferences of our community members and will never sell nor share your personal details to other organisations. In the spirit of connection and community, we may share your basic information with other community members for Wedu-related purposes only, as well as reach out to you should we want to tell you and your mentee's story in our online and offline collaterals.
