Our winter '24-'25 Veteran Arts program is here! We will be working on some similar projects we have done in the past but adding a few new projects for you to try. Join us to learn some new skills or learn some new projects! All materials, instruction, and tools are provided, but you are also welcome to bring in your own supplies. Brief descriptions are provided below but if you want to see an example, Google it!

11/5: 2-4 and 5-7 Coin Rings

11/12: 2-4 Intro to Turning, 5-7 Pen Turning

11/19: 2-4 Lidded Boxes, 5-7 Open Shop

12/3: 2-4 Spoon Carving, 5-7 Open Shop

12/10: 2-4 Open Shop, 5-7 Ornaments

12/17: 2-4 Ornaments, 5-7 Open Shop

1/7: 2-4 Bandsaw Boxes, 5-7 Open Shop

1/21: 2-4 Pen Turning, 5-7 Intro to Turning

2/1 (Saturday): 9-1 Bowl Turning Class

2/11: 2-4 Open Shop, 5-7 Coin Rings

Descriptions:
Wood Pen Turning – Turn a pen on a lathe from a selected wood blank to a treasured writing tool
Holiday/Christmas Ornament Turning – Turn holiday ornaments on the lathe (Christmas trees, snowmen, icicles, etc.)
Lidded Box – Turn a round lidded box on the lathe
Band Saw Boxes – Create a small wooden box using the bandsaw
Coin Ring Making - Bring in a state quarter and learn how to make it a wearable ring
Bowl Turning Class – Learn how to turn a wooden bowl from a block of wood (turning experience required)
Open Shop – Finish your projects or start something new!
