Step back in time and join us for outdoor ice skating in Portsmouth, NH! FREE admission for NEP participants and one care provider (if applicable). Figure and hockey skate rentals are available onsite for $6.00 (up to size 14). Rental fees will be waived for NEP participants. NEP has a limited selection of sit ice sleds available for shared use amongst interested individuals. Push bars are available for most of these sleds so that someone can assist with movement and control on the ice. Modified hockey sticks with sharp picks on the bottom are used to propel yourself around the ice. Accessible indoor restrooms and outdoor portable toilet available onsite. NEP Staff will be available to provide moderate assistance with transfers in and out of adaptive equipment and on/off the ice. If you anticipate needing more than moderate assistance, please bring a companion with you to assist.
