Application Instructions

Welcome to the One Family Scholars program's Online Application. Please read these instructions carefully before starting the application process. Prior to applying, please read through the information on the One Family Scholars website. If you have any questions, please attend an information session. Be sure that you completed the Interest Form prior to completing this application. If you have not completed the Interest Form please click here.

 

We are currently accepting applications for the 2025-2026 academic year. You must submit this application with required documents by Sunday, July 20th at 11:59 PM to be considered for this academic year.

Application Instructions (continued)

Please note: You MUST complete the entire application and click “Submit” for the application to be processed. You are able to save your progress and resume where you left off to complete the application, however, your application will NOT be processed if you don't click "Submit" and have all required documents attached to the application.

Saving your progress and resume later
To save your progress, please check the box in the top right corner of the application. You will be asked to enter your email and create a password. Be sure to write down your password so you won't forget! You will receive a link to return to your saved application via the email you entered. Once you receive the email you can close the window or continue working on your application by clicking "Resume this form now".

Remember that saving your progress doesn't mean you've submitted your application.

Submitting Required Documents
At the end of the application you will need to upload your required documentation. The submit documents must be submitted electronically as PDF's along with your application. If you cannot submit all of your documents at once, you will have the opportunity to return to your application to upload your required documents by saving your progress. When saving your progress, you'll be asked to enter your email and create a password. You will receive a link to return to your saved application. Be sure to write down your password so you won't forget! After saving your progress, click "Resume this form now" to submit your application. You must upload the missing required documents be July 20, 2025 at 11:59PM and submit the application to have it considered. Any incomplete submitted applications will not be considered. If you have any questions, please attend an information session. The last date to submit any required application documents is Sunday, July 20, 2025.

The required documentation you need to submit includes: 
  • 2025-26 FAFSA Submission Summary. This can be found on the FAFSA website when you log into your account.
  • Current official college transcript with grades from the most recent semester attended.  You can scan and submit as a pdf.
  • Academic plan or degree audit with Fall 2025 registration (sometimes called Degree Works) approved by your academic advisor and typically found in your student portal.  This lists all the courses within your degree program and indicates what courses have been completed and which are still remaining to complete your declared degree program.
You MUST upload all documents in PDF format or you will not be able to submit your application!

Once you have completed the One Family Scholars application, including uploading all required documents, you should submit it by clicking the Submit button below. 

By clicking the Submit button, you cannot reenter the application.  All documents must be uploaded before you submit. You will not be able to access the application to upload documents after clicking the Submit button. All the following documents must be submitted via the application to One Family by Sunday, July 20th at 11:59PM in order for an application to be considered complete:
  • Current official college transcript with grades from the most recent semester attended
  • Academic plan or degree audit with Fall 2025 registration
  • The complete 2025-26 FAFSA Submission Summary
